It's for a different renderer, but.as it's about using them in 3ds max it could be worth checking out. From this model not a problem in used bercon.map in 3ds max.
BerconMaps is a 3rd party texture plugin for Autodesk 3ds Max. It adds five new prodecural texture maps: Noise, Wood, Tile, Distortion and Gradient.
